NXT Championship Match Set For NXT In Your House 2022
The NXT Championship is set to be defended at NXT In Your House on June 4.
On the May 17 episode of NXT 2.0, an angry Bron Breakker came to the ring and called out Joe Gacy. It was two weeks ago at Spring Breakin’ that Breakker defeated Gacy but was abducted by Gacy and his followers after the match and left stranded somewhere on the side of the road.
The two have had a tumultuous couple of months as Gacy also kidnapped Breakker’s father, Rick Steiner, and stole his Hall of Fame ring all as a way of extorting a title match out of the champion.
Tonight, Gacy goaded Breakker into another title match at In Your House, saying he can take out all of his frustration on him. That said, if he gets disqualified, Breakker will lose the NXT Championship. Not worried about the stipulation, Breakker agreed to face Gacy at the June 4 event.
