NWA VP Says 22% Of NWA Powerrr Viewers Came From Those Watching AEW Dark
A look at the viewership numbers of NWA Powerrr.
NWA Powerrr premiered on Tuesday night on YouTube and Facebook to strong viewership numbers. As of this writing, NWA Powerrr sits at over 143,000 total views. Fightful Select reported that the show had 10,000 live viewers across Facebook and Youtube at the start of the show, and ended up over 15,000.
Viewership peaked during the main event, which saw NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis put his title on the line against former champion Tim Storm.
Part of the YouTube viewership can be attributed to AEW Dark, which also premiered on Tuesday. The AEW companion show, which features dark matches from the previous episode of AEW Dynamite, currently sits at over 370,000 views.
NWA Vice President Dave Lagana told The Wrap that 22.1% of fans who watched NWA Powerrr came over on the suggested viewing from AEW Dark. Social Blade reports that NWA’s YouTube channel gained 11,000 new subscribers over the past 24 hours.
On Facebook, over 70,000 fans have watched the show with live viewership peaking at 3,300 fans.
