Number One Contender For X-Division Championship Decided At IMPACT No Surrender
The next challenger for the X-Division Championship was determined at IMPACT No Surrender.
At the event, Daivari, Willie Mack, Suicide, Ace Austin, Trey Miguel, Blake Christian, Chris Bey, and Josh Alexander faced off in a Triple Threat Revolver match.
The Rules: Three men began the match (Miguel, Christian, and Suicide) and once a competitor was eliminated, a new competitor would join the action until everyone had entered. The final three competitors then did battle until there was a winner.
The first elimination came when Trey Miguel made Suicide tap out. Chris Bey entered the match next. He made a quick impact, pinning Blake Christian after hitting a Vertebreaker. Daivari entered next but didn’t last long, however, as Trey Miguel disposed of him after a beautiful Meteora. Josh Alexander came in sixth and changed the complexion of the match with a more grounded and gritty approach, making Chris Bey tap out with the ankle lock. Willie Mack entered second to last and was eliminated after a double-pin from Alexander and Miguel. Super X-Cup Winner Ace Austin entered the match last. Unfortunately for him, he was pinned by Josh Alexander after a double-underhook-piledriver.
Alexander will face TJP, who defeated Rohit Raju in a Grudge Match to retain his Championship.
