Noam Dar Says One Of His Goals At The Current Moment Is To Become WWE Cruiserweight Champion
Noam wants it all.
The 25-year old Scottish Supernova Noam Dar is scheduled to compete tomorrow night at Insane Championship Wrestling’s ‘Fear & Loathing XI’ show in Glasgow. Noam will be a part of a six-man tag team match featuring himself, BT Gunn and Wolfgang taking on Tyler Bate, Trent Seven and the WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne.
Noam returned from injury at the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament tapings this past summer and won a Fatal 4-Way match to earn himself a future opportunity at the WWE U.K. Championship. Noam did receive that opportunity on the premiere episode of NXT U.K. and even with a strong showing, Noam was not able to knock off “The Bruiserweight”.
Dar moved to Scotland at a young age and calls the country home and he spoke with SPORTbible recently to promote ICW’s show tomorrow and offered his thoughts about the six-man tag match that he’ll be a part of.
“For me being part of this big tag team match, personally when I first started wrestling, Wolfgang was one of the guys that really looked out for me since day one so I’ve always appreciated that. He was one of the big names in the scene when I first started. Same with BT Gunn so it’s even more exciting to be part of a match I have personal connection with, and it’ll be fun to have a good old classic Scotland verus England rivalry. Every now and again you have to break out the Braveheart undertones and get it happening.” He said.
On top of being an NXT U.K. talent, Noam Dar is also a 205 Live talent and he shared that one of his goals like many others on that brand is to take the WWE Cruiserweight Championship away from Buddy Murphy.
“Short term goals right now is to just consistently enjoy what I’m doing and stay focussed on exactly that, the short term. It’s very easy to get lost in all the opportunities and potential with all that’s going on but I’ve always worked better by looking at what’s in front of me and right now what’s in front of me is trying to get the Cruiserweight Championship off Buddy Murphy so that’s what I’m concentrating on right now.” He shared.
