NJPW’s Twitter: “We Know There’s A Real Shortage Of Professional Wrestling On Monday Nights”
New Japan takes a slight jab at WWE.
Prior to last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW going live on the USA Network, New Japan Pro Wrestling’s English Twitter took a swipe at WWE and pushed out a tweet which read that they know there is a lack of professional wrestling on Monday nights so they’ve made a match from their archives between Tomoaki Honma and former NEVER Openweight Champion Katsuyori Shibata free to watch.
–We know there’s a real shortage of professional wrestling on Monday nights, so every week we make a new match from our archives free to watch!

Shibata is the head coach of NJPW’s dojo in California and Shibata recently appeared for the company at Dominion to introduce KENTA to the New Japan faithful. KENTA declared for the G1 Climax 29 tournament and also at Dominion, Shingo Takagi and the current IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley declared for the G1 as well.
