Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima vs. Michael Elgin & Katsuya Kitamura
The match begins with Kojima working over Elgin with a headlock, Elgin breaks free to attack Kojima with shoulder tackles. Elgin traps Kojima in the ropes by nailing him with forearm strikes, Elgin then hits Kojima with a slingshot splash for a near fall. Kitamura tags in and he attacks Kojima with some chops, Kitamura then hits Kojima with a gut wrench suplex for a near fall. Kojima recovers and he drops Kitamura with a DDT, Tenzan tags in and he nails Kitamura with a few headbutts follwed by Mongolian chops. Tenzan traps Kitamura in the corner while nailing him with some kicks and a running clothesline, Kojima tags back in and he nails Kitamura with chops in the corner.
Kojima follows that up by nailing Kitamura with a running forearm strike followed by a top rope elbow drop for a near fall, Tenzan hits the ring and Kitamura drops both opponents with a double shoulder tackle. Elgin tags in and he catches both opponents with a series of running clotheslines, Elgin then hits Tenzan and Kojima with release German supexes. Elgin follows those up by hitting Kojima with a falcon arrow for a near fall, Kitamura tags in and he drops Kojima with a shoulder tackle. Kitamura goes for the torture rack and Tenzan breaks it up, Kojima then hits Kitamura with a Koji Cutter and a lariat for the three count.

Hirai Kawato, Juice Robinson & David Finlay vs. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi & El Desparado)
The match begins with an all out brawl breaking out between all the competitors in the match, Taichi drags Finlay into the crowd. Robinson and Suzuki battle each other in the ring by exchanging chops, Robinson then hits Suzuki with his patented jabs. Suzuki quickly recovers and he locks Robinson in a knee bar, Kawato eventually breaks up the submission hold from Suzuki. Suzuki gets up and he immediately destroys Kawato before throwing Robinson out of the ring, Suzuki finds a chair and he uses it to further injure the leg of Robinson. Robinson gets back in the ring and Suzuki continues attacking his injured knee, Taichi tags in and he hits Robinson with the bell hammer while the referee is distracted.
Taichi then cracks Robinson with a running clothesline in the corner, Robinson drops Taichi and then Desparado hits the ring to prevent the tag. Suzuki hits the ring as well and he gets into a chopping exchange with Robinson, Desparado and Finlay get the tags from their respective partners. Finlay drops Desparado with a leaping European uppercut, Taichi hits the ring and Finlay nails him with adrop kick. Finlay then hits Taichi and Desparado with running European uppercuts, Kawato tags in and he hits Desparado with a springboard drop kick. Kawato also knocks Suzuki off the ring apron a few times, Desparado then catches a charging Kawato with a spine buster. Suzuki finds Robinson and they brawl on the arena floor, Suzuki attacks Kawato in the ring and that allows Desparado to nail him with a spear. Desparado then hits Kawato with the Angel’s Wings for the three count.
Winners: Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi & El Desparado)
Bullet Club (Tama Tonga & Chase Owens) vs. Los Ingobernables (Hiromu Takahashi & Evil)
The match begins with an all out brawl breaking out between everybody in the match, Tonga throws Evil into the barricade. Owens grabs Takahash and he crotches him on the barricade, Tonga brings Evil into the crowd while Takahash and Owens battle in the ring. Tonga grabs a brick and he nails Evil in the head with it, Owens catches a leaping Takahash with a drop kick. Tonga tags in and he works with Owens to hit Takahash with a fireman’s carry neck breaker, Tonga gets angry and he mauls Takahash with a series of punches. Tonga misses a charge in the corner and Takahash drops him with a dragon screw leg whip, Evil tags in and he nails Tonga with a senton bomb.
Owens hits the ring and Evil nails him with a senton bomb as well, Evil looks for a fisherman buster suplex and Tonga counters with a Tongan Twist. Owens tags in and he cleans house on the opposing team, Owens looks to work with Tonga until Takahash trips Tonga up. Owens then hits Evil with an enzguri, Takahash interferes and hits Owens with a super kick so Evil can hit him with a lariat for the near fall. Evil then locks Owens in the Banshee Muzzle and a tap out follows.
Winners: Los Ingobernables (Hiromu Takahashi & Evil)
Chaos (Jado & Toru Yano) vs. Bullet Club (Kenny Omega & Yujiro Takahashi)
The match begins with Takahashi dropping Jado with a shoulder tackle, Jado causes Takahashi to stop mid-run and he slaps him in the face. Jado then takes the chance to nail Takahashi with a series of chops, Takahashi gets angry and he drops Jado before just stomping away on him. Omega attacks Yano on the arena floor with Takahashi’s pimp cane, Takahashi works over Jado in the corner before tagging Omega into the match. Omega immediately nails Gedo with a top rope axe handle drop to the back, Omega goes back up to hit Jado with a top rope tomahawk chop. Takahashi tags back in and he nails Jado with a running leg drop, Takahashi slows things down by holding Jado in a chin lock.
Jado recovers and he drops a charging Takahashi with a clothesline, Omega and Yano get the tags from their respective partners. Yano tries removing the turnbuckle pad and Omega briefly stops him, Yano gets the turnbuckle pad and he attacks Omega with it. Yano and Omega exchange some hair pulls that send them both to the mat below, Takahashi tags in and Yano immediately drops him with a hair pull, Jado tags in and he works over Takahashi to get a near fall. Omega and Yano hit the ring to pull at each others hair, Takahashi then hits Jado with a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall. Takahashi then hits Jado with Pimp Juice for the three count.
Winners: Bullet Club (Kenny Omega & Yujiro Takahashi)
Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & Gedo) vs. Los Ingobernables (Sanada & Bushi)
The match begins with Okada backing Sanada into the ropes before taunting him, Okada slams Sanada and misses the follow up rope assisted swanton bomb. Sanada and Okada go through a series of reversals with nobody gaining a clear advantage, Bushi and Gedo get the tags from their respective partners. Gedo shoves the referee before poking Bushi in the eye, Bushi gets angry and he quicly drops Gedo as Sanada attacks Okada. Bushi takes off his shirt and he starts choking Gedo with it, Sanada tags in and he locks Gedo in the paradise lock before landing a drop kick. Bushi hits the ring and he double teams Gedo alongside Sanada, Okada hits the ring after a short time to take out Bushi with a flapjack.
Okada then takes out Sanada with a modified neck breaker, Gedo then nails a downed Bushi with a super kick to the head for a near fall. Gedo misses a charge to the corner and Bushi nails him with a missile drop kick followed by a code breaker for a near fall, Okada gets back in the ring and Sanada locks him in the Cold Skull. Bushi then hits Gedo with MX for the three count.
Winners: Los Ingobernables (Sanada & Bushi)
NJPW G1 Climax 27 Block A: Yoshi-Hashi vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
The match begins with Sabre Jr using his chain wrestling to get Yoshi-Hashi down and then into an arm bar, Yoshi-Hashi escapes and Sabre Jr locks him in a kravat. El Desparado interferes and that allows Sabre Jr to nail him with European uppercuts, Yoshi-Hashi gets angry and he drops Sabre Jr multiple times before landing a slam. Sabre Jr recovers and he nails Yoshi-Hashi with a pele kick to the arm, Sabre Jr starts wrenching and twisting the injured arm of Yoshi-Hashi. Sabre Jr holds the arm of Yoshi-Hashi down while stomping away on it, Sabre Jr follows that up by bending the arm of Yoshi-Hashi before stomping on it.
Yoshi-Hashi gets up and gets into a striking exchange with Sabre Jr, Sabre Jr eventually drops Yoshi-Hashi after kicking at his injured arm. Sabre Jr keeps Yoshi-Hashi down by getting him in a modified rings of Saturn, Yoshi-Hashi breaks free and starts fighting back against Sabre Jr. Yoshi-Hashi eventually drops a dazed Sabre Jr with a rolling neck breaker, Yoshi-Hashi then catches a cornered Sabre Jr with a running chop. Yoshi-Hashi follows that up by placing Sabre Jr on the top rope before nailing him with a drop kick, Yoshi-Hashi catches Sabre Jr with a clothesline for a near fall. Sabre Jr recovers and nails the injured arm of Yoshi-Hashi with a pele kick, Yoshi-Hashi quickly gets back up to hit Sabre Jr with a power bomb for a near fall.
Desparado interferes again and Yoshi-Hashi takes care of him, Yoshi-Hashi then goes for a swanton bomb and Sabre Jr gets his knees up. Sabre Jr then cracks Yoshi-Hashi with a penalty kick for a near fall, Sabre Jr follows that up by locking Yoshi-Hashi in a triangle choke. Sabre Jr transitions to the arm bar and Yoshi-Hashi gets to the ropes, Sabre Jr waits for Yoshi-Hashi to get up to kick him in his injured arm. Yoshi-Hashi gets angry and he levels Sabre Jr with a lariat for a near fall, Sabre Jr escapes Kharma and he rolls up Yoshi-Hashi for a near fall. Sabre Jr goes for the arm bar again and Yoshi-Hashi escapes again, Sabre Jr then catches Yoshi-Hashi in the octopus stretch and Yoshi-Hashi taps out.
Winner: Zack Sabre Jr.
NJPW G1 Climax 27 Block A: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Yuji Nagata
The match begins with Nagata scoring a takedown on Tanahashi, Tanahashi gets back up and he holds Nagata in a head lock. Tanahashi goes for an arm bar and Nagata attacks him with a series of strikes, Tanahashi then drops Nagata and then nails him with a drop kick. Nagata misses an enzaguri attempt and Tanahashi makes him pay with a dragon screw leg whip, Tanahashi then nails Nagata with several knee drops to the leg. Tanahashi takes a small break before applying the figure four leg lock to Nagata, Nagata eventually reverses the figure four and then Tanahashi reverses it back. Nagata does eventually make it to the ropes to break the submission attempt, Tanahashi continues to attack the injured leg of Nagata.
Nagata recovers and he drops a charging Tanahashi with a knee lift, Nagata then attacks Tanahashi with a series of kicks to the upper body. Nagata then kicks a downed Tanahashi in the back multiple times, Nagata follows that up by hitting a cornered Tanahashi with a running boot to the face and then an exploder suplex. Tanahashi recovers and he catches Nagata with a spinning neck breaker, Tanahashi continues his attack by catching Nagata with a release German suplex. Nagata goes for a kick and Tanahashi drops him with another dragon screw leg whip, Nagata trips up a charging Tanahashi and then he locks him in the Nagata Lock. Tanahashi does eventually make it to the ropes to break the submission attempt, Nagata then attacks the injured arm of Tanahashi with a series of kicks.
Nagata then catches a cornered Tanahashi with a running knee strike to the face, Nagata places Tanahashi on the top rope and he follows him up there. Nagata catches Tanahashi with a top rope exploder suplex for the near fall, Nagata then hits Tanahashi with a spinning brain buster for another near fall. Nagata goes for his suplex and Tanahashi counters with a cross body, Tanahashi and Nagata exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. Tanahashi eventually drops Nagata during the exchange of strikes, Tanahashi then catches Nagata with a sling blade for a near fall. Tanahashi goes to the top rope and Nagata meets him up there, Tanahashi knocks Nagata off the top rope before nailing him with a High Fly Flow. Tanahashi goes back up to the top rope and he lands a second High Fly Flow for the three count.

NJPW G1 Climax 27 Block A: Bad Luck Fale vs. Tetsuya Naito
The match begins with Naito attacking Fale before he even gets in the ring, Fale gets into the ring and Naito attacks him with a few strikes. Fale then slams a leaping Naito before attacking him with more strikes, Fale drops a charging Naito after nailing him with a shoulder tackle. Fale takes Naito outside of the ring before throwing him into the barricade a few times, Fale waits for Naito to get back in the ring to just stand on his injured back. Fale then lands a few butt drops on the injured back of Naito, Fale traps Naito in the corner before nailing him with forearm strikes to the back. Fale then grabs a Bullet Club towel and he chokes Naito with it, Fale just starts stomping away on the back of a downed Naito.
Fale looks for a slam and Naito escapes to drop him with an inverted back breaker, Naito traps Fale in the corner to nail him with some elbow strikes. Naito eventually drops Fale in the corner before nailing him with a slingshot drop kick, Fale gets up and he continuously shoves Naito away from him. Fale then catches a corner Naito with an avalanche followed by a splash for a near fall, Naito drops a swinging Fale with a flat liner before applying the scarf hold. Fale eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission hold, Naito gets Fale down again and goes for Destino. Fale blocks Destino and Naito catches him with an enzaguri instead, Fale recovers and drp[s Naito with a clothesline for a near fall. Fale goes for the Grenade and Naito counters with a DDT, Naito goes for Destino and Fale counters with the Grenade for a near fall.
Fale then catches Naito with the Bad Luck Fall for the three count.

NJPW G1 Climax 27 Block A: Kota Ibushi vs. Tomohiro Ishii
The match begins with Ishii dropping Ibushi with a shoulder tackle, Ibushi and Ishii go through a series of reversals with nobody getting a clear advantage. Ibushi and Ishii get into a forearm strike exchange in the middle of the ring, Ibushi then drops Ishii with a series of kicks. Ishii gets up and he drops Ibushi with some strikes of his own, Ishii backs Ibushi into the corner while attacking him with chops. Ishii drops Ibushi and then he tries crushing his head with his foot, Ibushi recovers and he drops Ishii with a suplex. Ishii gets back up and Ibushi drops him right away with a clothesline, Ibushi then nails Ishii with a springboard drop kick.
Ishii rolls out of the ring and Ibushi catches him with a dive, Ibushi throws Ishii back into the ring and Ishii catches him with a running clothesline in the corner. Ishii follows that up by dropping Ibushi with a belly to back suplex, Ibushi drops a charging Ishii with a spin kick before landing a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ishii gets to his knees and Ibushi attacks him with a series of kicks, Ishii gets angry and he assaults Ibushi with some chops. Ishii follows a downed Ibushi into the corner and he assaults him with headbutts, Ibushi getsup and Ishii attacks him with knee strikes. Ibushi gets angry and he attacks Ishii with some knee strikes as well, Ibushi and Ishii exchange a bunch of strikes in the middle of the ring until Ishii goes down.
Ibushi and Ishii exchange more strikes until Ishii drops Ibushi with a lariat, Ishii then places a charging Ibushi on the top rope and he follows him up there. Ishii crushes Ibushi with a top rope brain buster for a near fall, Ibushi recovers and he catches Ishii with a German suplex for a near fall. Ibushi goes for a running knee strike and Ishii counters with an enzaguri followed by the low lariat for a near fall, Ibushi gets up and he drops Ishii with a series of kicks to the head. Ibushi then drops Ishii again with a plethora of strikes, Ishii gets back up and he drops Ibushi with a lariat. Ibushi gets right back up and he catches Ishii with a German suplex for a near fall, Ibushi exchnages strikes with Ishii until he drops him with a lariat.
Ibushi crushes Ishii with a sit out power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Kota Ibushi
NJPW G1 Climax 27 Block A: Togi Makabe vs. Hirooki Goto
The match begins with Goto holding Makabe in a headlock for a few moments, Gotobacks Makabe into the ropes before attacking him with strikes. Makabe recovers and drops a charging Goto witha shoulder tackle, Goto gets right up and he nails Makabe with a clothesline in the corner. Makabe gets to the top rope and Goto knocks him off to the arena floor, Goto goes outside the ring and he tosses Makabe into the barricade a few times. Goto brings Makabe back into the ring and he stomps away on him, Goto then locks Makabe in the single leg crab.
Makabe eventually gets to the ropes and Goto stomps away on him, Goto drops Makabe again with a back elbow strike for a near fall. Goto attacks a downed Makabe with punches and Makabe is getting angry, Makabe then drops a charging Goto with a shoulder tackle. Makabe gets up and he immediately drops a charging Goto again, Makabe traps Goto in the corner before assaulting him with punches. Makabe then hits Goto with a northern lights suplex for a near fall. Goto gets Makabe back into the corner before nailing him with a spin kick followed by a suplex for a near fall, Goto and Makabe exchange a series of clotheslines that drop them both.
Makabe and Goto have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Goto eventually drops Makabe for a near fall. Makabe recovers and he nails Goto with a German suplex for a near fall, Makabe and Goto again have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Makabe then drops Goto with a running clothesline for a near fall, Makabe goes for the King Kong Knee Drop and Goto gets out of the way. Goto drops a kneeling Makabe with a kick for another near fall, Goto follows that up by locking Makabe in a sleeper hold. Goto releases the sleeper to hit Makabe with a running clothesline in the corner, Goto then puts Makabe on the top rope.
Makabe eventually knocks Goto off the ropes before landing a King Kong Knee Drop on him, Makabe then hits Goto with a power bomb for a near fall. Makabe follows this up by nailing Goto with a clothesline and then placing him on the top rope, Makabe follows him up there and he German suplexes him off the ropes. Makabe hits Goto with another King Kong Knee Drop for the three count.
