– After beating ACH on Day 3 of the tournament, Will Ospreay made a declaration that he is the best aerialist in NJPW.
– On two different nights, El Desperado and Dragon Lee pulled off similar dives. Both men are at the top of their respective block's standings.
– El Desperado and Hiromu Takahashi met in a tag team match on Day 3 and spoke to the press after the match. The two wrestlers met in a tournament match on Day 4.
– Takahashi appeared on the May 23rd issue of "Weekly Pro Wrestling"
– Taiji Ishimori faced BUSHI in a tag team match on Day 2 of the tournament and had words for the wrestler he would face on the next night of the tournament.
– Marty Scurll is calling his inverted Brain Buster the "Black Plague"
– Flip Gordon and ACH had a tournament match on Day 1. ACH would come out the victor and said Ring of Honor could send better wrestlers than Gordon to face him. He also made fun of Gordon for believing the world is flat.
– Flip Gordon is using the nickname "All In" for his matches in NJPW. He explained why in this tweet.
– Tiger Mask who is undefeated in the tournament spoke after his second victory which was over YOH on Day 3. He said he was wrong for doubting the worthiness of YOH.
– In this video, SHO explains how he prepared for the tournament and his Day 2 opponent Dragon Lee talked about being the youngest wrestler in the tournament.
