New Japan Pro Wrestling held their Destruction in Kobe event on September 29th from the World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan. The event aired on NJPW World.

NJPW Destruction in Kobe Results (9/29)

– Shota Umino, Ryusuke Taguchi, and Dragon Dia def. Yuji Nagata, Tomoaki Honma, and Tiger Mask

– Los Ingobernables de Japón (Yota Tsuji, BUSHI, and Hiromu Takahashi) def. United Empire (Jeff Cobb, Callum Newman, and Francesco Akira)

– Hirooki Goto def. Gabe Kidd

– Goto vs Kidd was originally restarted after Kidd disputed that he was unconcious for a submission finish.

–  Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Ryohei Oiwa was announced as the newest member of TMDK.

– TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr., Kosei Fujita and Ryohei Oiwa) def. Just 5 Guys (SANADA, Taichi and Taka Michinoku)

– NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano, and Boltin Oleg (c) def. House of Torture (EVIL, SHO, and Yujiro Takahashi) (with Dick Togo)

– After the match, Ren Narita ran in to attack Hiroshi Tanahashi, with El Phantasmo returning to make the save. El Phantasmo and Tanashi shook hands after.

– IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: DOUKI (c) def. Yoshinobu Kanemaru (with Yujiro Takahashi and Dick Togo)

– SHO threatened to destroy DOUKI’s title if he wasn’t granted a title shot, which DOUKI agreed to. SHO would attack DOUKI after.

– NEVER Openweight Championship: Shingo Takagi def. Henare (c) 

IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship: David Finlay (c) (with Gedo) def. Yoshi-Hashi

– Following the match, Goto would confront David Finlay.

– IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) def. Great-O-Khan

– Following the match Zack Sabre Jr., Shingo Takagi, and Ryohei Oiwa addressed Sabre and Naito’s upcoming match at King of Pro Wrestling. Oiwa would challenge new NEVER Openweight Champion Takagi to a title match.
