NJPW, AJPW, And NOAH Coming Together For “All-Star Battle” In February 2019

The top organizations in Japan are coming together for a super show in February.

The announcement was made on social media Monday night.

The show will be held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Giant Baba’s death — Baba died on January 31, 1999 — and the founding of Tokyo Sports in 1979.

According to Hisame, the the show will not air on New Japan World. Hisame also stated that he would be surprised if New Japan vs. NOAH bouts were booked for the card. There are tensions between the two companies dating back to 2016 when NOAH was sold. You can see a NJPW vs. NOAH brawl that got out of control in the video above.

Fightful will provide more information on the show when it becomes available.
