Nicole Matthews: The Girls Locker Room Smells A Lot Better Than The Boys

Nicole Matthews will be part of Smash Wrestling and Femmes Fatales Girls Next Door on June 25 in Toronto, an all-women’s show ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Matthews will be in action against Alexia Nicole for the Femmes Fatales Championship.

Matthews has been part of plenty of all-female shows, and there is a big difference between the male and female locker rooms.

“At DEFY the other week, the DEFY locker room is a few different room and a hallway backstage. One of the smaller rooms, the girls took over. It was me, Allie (Katch), Vertvixen, and Shazza McKenzie. We were having a good time like the girls do. We were like, ‘it smells so much better back here when it’s just girls.’ That’s one huge difference. You can’t beat the smell. We all have body hair, but we take care of it and bring body spray, deodorant, and butt wipes and all this. I don’t know what the dudes do. They never wash their gear. All the girls wash our gear, at least. That’s always a good thing. It’s always very positive and very encouraging. It’s definitely a slightly different vibe, but mostly the smell would be the biggest difference,” Matthews told Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds.
