Nick Wayne Officially Signs With AEW
It’s officially official.
Nick Wayne has officially joined All Elite Wrestling.
Though Wayne signed an apprenticeship deal with AEW in February 2022 when he was 16 years old, the deal didn’t officially begin on July 12 when he made his in-ring debut on AEW Dynamite. Wayne may have lost to Swerve Strickland in the match, but he is now a member of the AEW roster.

Swerve defeated Wayne with the JML Driver after a competitive bout. Darby Allin, who has taken Wayne under his wing, watched the bout from the stage. Swerve attacked Darby earlier in the night, costing him and Orange Cassidy their Blind Eliminator Tag Team bout against Daniel Garcia & Sammy Guevara.

Wayne previously revealed that he was not being paid under his apprenticeship deal with AEW.
