Nick Aldis Tweets And Deletes Comment Calling Out Promotions For “Taking Advantage” Of Willie Mack

Nick Aldis and the NWA are not happy with Lucha Underground.

Last Sunday, Willie Mack lost the NWA National Title to Colt Cabana at NWA Crockett Cup. The result wasn’t too surprising as Mack had a sustained run and Cabana is a well-known name. But the reasoning for the title switch became clearer in the following days as it was reported that Lucha Underground was threatening to send NWA and ROH a cease & desist over their use of Mack.

Days later, Mack signed a multi-year deal with IMPACT Wrestling. Upset over the turn of events, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis took to social media and said, “If you ever wanted to see the evidence of scheming carny wrestling BS, look no further. Sorry Willie. They took advantage of you.”

He later deleted the tweet, but you can see a screenshot of it below.

PWInsider reports that it was implied that AAA, through Lucha Underground, made sure that Mack signed with IMPACT Wrestling. The report also states that Mack dropping the NWA National Title to Cabana was always the plan.

Mack is set to team with Rich Swann, Fallah Bahh, & Tommy Dreamer to take on oVe members Sami Callihan, Jake & Dave Crist, & Mad Man Fulton on next week’s episode of IMPACT.
