The first-ever National Wrestling Alliance pop up event has its headlining bout.
The NWA announced that James Storm will challenge Nick Aldis for the NWA World Title at their Jan. 5 pop up event in Tennessee. Storm is a seven-time NWA World Tag Team Champion, but has never received a one-on-one bout for the NWA World Title.
Storm and Aldis have a long history as rivals during their time in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling together. Storm defeated Aldis at Slammiversary 2015 in an Unsanctioned Bout.
