On the November 7 episode of WWE Raw, Cross expanded her alliance with Damage CTRL by heping Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY in their brawl against Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss. Belair challenged Damage CTRL to a WarGames Match, and Bayley accepted.
Cross subsequently challenged reigning WWE 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke for the title. The bout marked Brooke’s first televised defense since Triple H took over as the head of creative on July 25. Cross scored the win, so she dethroned Brooke as the champion.

Shortly after the match, Cross and Damage CTRL were walking backstage, and the new champion tried to throw her title in the trash. Cross didn’t quite make it, but her intent was clear. She and Damage CTRL walked away, leaving the title lying on the ground.
