New Vignette For Mystery Wrestler Airs On 7/11 WWE Raw, References To Mick Foley And John Cena Shown

A new vignette aired tonight on Monday Night Raw with more callbacks to past WWE legends.

At WWE Money in the Bank, a vignette was shown with references to names like Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, The Dudley Boyz, Jeff Hardy, and more. That same vignette has been replayed on Monday Night Raw for two weeks now but a second vignette was aired on the July 11 episode.

In this vignette, you could clearly see a flannel shirt, like the ones that Mick Foley wears, on fire. There was also a 2005 Randy Orton t-shirt shown, and a John Cena hat. At the end of the vignette, it appeared that somebody was writing a message in a blood-like substance.

There are still no definitive revelations regarding who these vignettes are for. However, following Money in the Bank, our premium service, Fightful Select did provide more information.

Details on SPOOKY Money in the Bank vignettes

At WWE Money in the Bank, some SPOOKY vignettes aired in ominous fashion, leading many to speculate who they’re for.

Fightful Select has been told that the working plan was for them to represent Edge. There are several indicators involved, specifically crosses representing Christian. Hardy gloves, Dudley Boyz glasses and some other references to his biggest foes.

We’ll work to learn more on this.

Edge was taken out by Finn Balor and the rest of Judgment Day on the night after WWE Hell in a Cell.
