New NWA National Champion Crowned On NWA Powerrr
The NWA National Title has changed hands.
Chris Adonis is the new NWA National Champion, defeating Trevor Murdoch on Tuesday’s NWA Powerrr. Adonis forced Murdoch to pass out with the Masterlock in a No DQ match. Murdoch entered the match in a neck brace after he was attacked by Adonis earlier in the show.
During the open of the show, Murdoch interrupted a promo by Nick Aldis and challenged Adonis to a No DQ match. Adonis attacked Murdoch from behind and Murdoch was helped out by officials. Later on, it was announced that Murdoch would defend the NWA National Title against Adonis in the main event, replacing the NWA Television Title match scheduled between Da Pope and Fred Rosser.
