New Matches And Stipulations Added To IMPACT Wrestling Homecoming, Updated Card

IMPACT Wrestling Homecoming got a makeover on Thursday’s edition of IMPACT as two matches were made official and one match added a Hall of Famer.

First, Gail Kim was announced as the special guest referee for the Knockouts Title Match between Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie. Blanchard defended her Knockouts Title against Valkyrie at Bound For Glory, but needed a shortcut to help her retain. You can view the video of Kim being added to the bout as the guest referee in the featured player above.

Next, Moose vs. Eddie Edwards in a Falls Count Anywhere bout was made official for Homecoming. The rivalry between the two men kicked off at the ReDEFINED special where Moose turned on Edwards, siding with Austin Aries and Killer Kross. The two men met at Bound For Glory, but the match ended in a DQ after two minutes and was turned into a tag team bout.

Finally, all four participants have qualified for the Ultimate X match. The match includes Jake Crist, Ethan Page, Rich Swann, and Trey Miguel. All four men won qualifying bouts on recent episodes of IMPACT. The X Division Title was vacated by Brian Cage as he cashed in his Option C clause to challenge World Champion Johnny Impact.
