Katsuyori Shibata vs Kyle O'Reilly NEVER Openweight Championship Match
They start off with measured kicks and strikes before grappling; doing a lot of MMA-esque moves. Shibata puts Kyle in a kneebar, but Kyle quickly rolls into the ropes for the break, then Shibata starts focusing on the left arm of Kyle. Shibata works on the left wrist of Kyle, stomping on it, then locking in a short arm scissor, but Kyle gets to the ropes. Kyle drops Shibata with a kick, then beats on him in mount with strikes before locking in an armbar, but Shibata quickly rolls to the ropes for the break. Shibata gets back in the ring after going to to recover, but Kyle is all over him, focusing on the already injured and taped up right shoulder of Shibata. Kyle drops elbows onto Shibata, then hits him with several knees on the ground before Shibata tries to come back, but Kyle drops him with a kick and a leg sweep.
Kyle hits Shibata with a running forearm in the corner, then a back suplex into an Achilles lock before Shibata forces his way out of it, only for Kyle to kick him down. Shibata sits back up and tells Kyle to keep kicking him which he does until Shibata drops Kyle with a stiff forearm that sends Kyle to his knees. Shibata hits Kyle with several running kicks in the corner and forearms until Kyle collapses in the corner, Shibata following up with a delayed dropkick. Shibata then hits a half hatch suplex for a near fall as we go to commercial.
Shibata is in control as we come back, locking in an octopus hold, transitioning into an armbar when Kyle tries to get to the ropes before Kyle rolls to the ropes for the break. They square off toe to toe, then exchange running boots to the face before Shibata locks in a standing guillotine that Kyle powers out of. Shibata goes for a headbutt, but Kyle counters with a knee, then hits a capture suplex for a near fall before Shibata counters another suplex. Kyle locks in a front choke, then hits a brainbuster for a near fall, then locks in an armbar immediately after, Kyle transitioning into a triangle choke before Shibata powers out of it only for Kyle to lock in another armbar. Shibata gets to the ropes, then Kyle goes to smash his arm before Shibata puts him in a sleeper, then Kyle gets to the ropes before they exchange suplexes and strikes until they collapse to the mat.
They exchange forearms once they get to their feet, then they drop each other with a boot before Kyle drops Shibata with a lariat for a quick two count, then follows up with a PK for a near fall. Kyle hits Shibata with a series of knees and kicks before Shibata locks in a sleeper hold and Kyle passes out forcing the referee to stop the match.

Kenny Omega vs Hirooki Goto G1 Climax Briefcase Match
Goto hits Kenny with the briefcase before the match starts, then DDT's Kenny onto it before beating on Kenny at ringside once the match starts. Goto suplexes Kenny on the floor when Kenny counters Goto trying to whip him into the railing, then Goto rolls him back into the ring. Goto hits an elbow drop off of the top rope for a quick two count, then hits Kenny with several forearms in the corner before Kenny gets out of a rear chin lock. They exchange right hands until Kenny back Goto into the corner and chopping him before Goto whips him across the ring and clotheslines him. Kenny comes back with a high angle bull dog, then Kenny dropkicks Goto when he goes out onto the apron.
Matt Jackson attacks Goto while Nick distracts the referee, then Kenny suplexes Goto onto the apron before Matt puts a table on top of Goto. Kenny does a double foot stomp onto the table that's set upside down on Goto, then rolls him back into the ring before dropkicking the back of the head of Goto for a near fall. Kenny locks in a chin lock cross face, but Goto crawls to the ropes for the break as we go to commercial.
Kenny kicks and chops Goto before raking his eyes, then slapping him repeatedly in the corner before Goto comes back with a series of forearms. Kenny comes back with a series of knife edge chops in the corner, then Goto catches him coming in twice before Kenny chops him when he runs at him. Goto drops Kenny with a kick when he comes off of the ropes, then hits a spinning wheel kick in the corner into a back drop for a near fall. Kenny counters a suplex, then spits in Goto's face before Kenny hits a rolling Death Valley driver into a moonsault for a near fall. Kenny hits a huricanrrana that sends Goto out of the ring, then Kenny hits Rise of the Terminator, Kenny hitting the back of his shins on the railing. Kenny gets back in the ring, holding his ankle as the Bucks set up a table beside Goto at ringside before they lie Goto down on it, but YOSHI-HASHI stops them before Kenny can do anything.
Kenny and Goto fight on the apron with Kenny in the ring and Goto on the apron, the two exchanging forearms until Kenny sets him on the top rope and they exchange strikes before Goto hits a sunset powerbomb that folds Kenny up for a near fall. Kenny catches a kick, then hits a pump handle backbreaker before Goto counters when Kenny tries to powerbomb him out of the ring. Kenny is sent to the outside, then Goto hits him with a forearm when Kenny tries to hit a springboard move, sending Kenny through the table as we go to commercial.
Goto drags Kenny back into the ring, then turns him inside out with a discus lariat before hitting a spinning ushigaroshi for a near fall. Goto locks in a sleeper hold, but Kenny counters it, then Goto locks it in again before hitting Kenny with a reverse suplex that Kenny powers out of and nearly lands on his head. Goto goes for the GTR, but Kenny counters, then teases one of his own before Goto hits a Shouten Kai for a near fall. Kenny rolls Goto up when he goes for the GTR, then Kenny hits the V-Trigger into a snap dragon suplex before collapsing to the mat. They exchange forearms once they're to their knees, then their feet before Goto collapses face first, Kenny barely standing after Kenny hits another V-Trigger. Goto headbutts,Kenny, then Kenny hits a third V-Trigger into an ushigaroshi for a near fall before hitting another V-Trigger and the One Winged Angel, even when Goto tries to counter it for the pin and the win.
