KENTA survived a High Fly Flow through a table on the outside to eventually get back in the ring and put “The Ace” away with the Go To Sleep.

This marks the first reign at IWGP United States Champion for KENTA. Hiroshi Tanahashi held the title for 84 days after defeating Lance Archer at NJPW Resurgence. He made one successful defense of the title.
