New IWGP Heavyweight And IC Champion Crowned At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15, Main Event Set For Night Two
Jay White has an opponent at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15 night two.
In the main event of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15 night one, Kota Ibushi bested his long-time rival Tetsuya Naito to become the new IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion. As with every other Ibushi vs. Naito bout, the two men risked life and neck to walk away with the victory. Ibushi was finally able to pin Naito for the three count with a jumping knee counter to Destino and a Kamigoya, which was his third of the bout.
As a result of his victory, Ibushi will move on to defend both titles against Jay White in the main event of night two of Wrestle Kingdom 15.
White earned his shot at the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships by defeating Ibushi for the G1 Climax Briefcase at Power Struggle 2020. Naito chose to defend both titles on night one against Ibushi while White chose to take night one off and wait for the winner on night two.

After the bout, Naito handed both titles to Ibushi and embraced the man who just defeated him. Once Naito left ringside, White appeared and confronted Ibushi, telling him his reign would only last for one night.
