New Double NXT & North American Champion Crowned At Great American Bash
For the first time ever, NXT has a dual NXT and North American Champion.
After weeks of buildup, and a triple threat match just to get a shot at the NXT title, North American Champion Keith Lee has now added another title to his resume, this time the NXT Championship after beating Adam Cole in the main event of the Great American Bash.

After the match ended and Lee was celebrating, Karrion Kross and Scarlett looked from afar, likely an indication that Kross will be looking at challenging Lee down the road.
The match also ended Cole’s historic run as champion, a run that included him breaking Finn Balor’s record for the longest reign in NXT history. Cole became the champion back in June 2019 when he defeated Johnny Gargano back at NXT TakeOver: XXV.
