New Day: If Adam Pearce Doesn’t Give Us A Tag Team Championship Match, Maybe Nick Aldis Will
New Day is climbing the ladder back to the WWE Tag Team Championships and they’ve got options.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are on track to get another shot at the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship after defeating Alpha Academy on the October 23 episode of WWE Raw.
Now, on the subsequent episode of WWE Raw Talk, Woods in Kingston spoke about wanting another shot at the gold and said that if Adam Pearce doesn’t give them a shot at the gold, perhaps WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis will.
“It was impressive wasn’t it? It happens when you see New Day in the ring sometimes, you get speechless,” Woods said.
Kofi added, “Look at us now. As you can see this ladder right here, it’s just like us climbing the ranks in this tag team division.”
Woods said, “We were fighting in order to climb the ranks in this division so that we can then again become WWE World Tag Team Champions. That’s gonna happen here on Monday Night Raw. Maybe we go talk to a man named Adam Pearce. Considering that match we had was so piercing.”
Xavier Woods also said that if Adam Pearce doesn’t want to give them the title match, they could always go to Nick Aldis.
“If Pearce won’t give us that tag match, you know, we used to run SmackDown, maybe we’ll go talk to Nick Aldis because SmackDown’s definitely gonna want all this.”

New Day has not been WWE Tag Team Champions since their run as WWE NXT Tag Team Champions ended in February of this year.
