New Data Reveals IMPACT Wrestling Averaged 151,000 Viewers In Q3 2020
In an era where pro wrestling’s TV ratings are perhaps more watched, debated, and discussed than ever, there is new information about the television ratings for IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV in 2020.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics shared some new graphs on Twitter which detailed the viewership information for IMPACT throughout this calendar year.
According to the first graph, the January 7 episode of IMPACT saw the television show’s highest viewership with 200,000 viewers. This number would only be replicated one time this year and that was on September 22. In the coveted 18-49 demographic, IMPACT’s biggest get was 59,000 viewers for both the February 4 and February 18 episodes.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the lowest viewership all year was 78,000 viewers on September 8 on a night that they were opposed by NXT. The lowest number of viewers in the key demographic came on April 7, when the show only saw 19,000 viewers ranging from 18 to 49 years old.
The second graph shows the number of viewers averaged in Q3 2020. As compared to WWE SmackDown, which has the most viewers of any pro wrestling television show, IMPACT Wrestling only averaged 151,000 viewers while SmackDown averaged over 2 million viewers in the most recent quarter.
I’ve gotten a hold of weekly Impact Wrestling viewership on AXS TV.
Little was previously known about Impact viewership. It doesn’t get reported on Showbuzzdaily. Some data has been reported by PWTorch. I’ve previously tweeted monthly data. pic.twitter.com/RiW4lUqwcO
