New AEW TNT Champion Crowned In Dog Collar Match On AEW Dynamite, Title Match Set For 10/14
Cody is the first-ever two-time champion in AEW.
In a hellacious Dog Collar match, Cody overcame Brodie Lee to regain the AEW TNT Championship on Dynamite. Lee decimated Cody on the August 22 episode of Dynamite, taking his title and sending him out of the venue on a stretcher. Cody was off television for a month before returning to confront Lee.
The two men settled the score in a Dog Collar match, with Cody picking up the victory with the Cross Rhodes.
