On the October 11 episode of NWA Powerrr, Kamille faced KiLynn King in a #1 Contender’s Match. In a hard-fought match, King emerged victorious. This will be a rematch from NWA Alwayz Ready, where Kamille beat King to retain the title. Kamille has held the title since NWA When Our Shadows Fall on June 6, 2021.
Valkyrie previously earned a shot at the title on the September 6 episode of NWA Powerrr; she defeated King, Chelsea Green, and Jennacide in a four-way bout.
