Nasty Leroy is a bad man, but don’t get it twisted, he is also a very smart man. Nasty Leroy knows that he can take Matt Cardona but he also knows Matt Cardona ain’t worth going to jail for.

Recently, Leroy spoke with Fightful’s Stephen Jensen at the GCW Astronaut event at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia. During the interview, he recounted his interactions with Matt Cardona ducking him during a recent event and what he said to Brett Lauderdale about Matt Cardona ducking him.

“Matt Cardona was running from me the whole building,” Leroy said. “He was ducking and dodging. He was looking at his phone. He couldn’t stand to face me and then he had to face me. We were in the same room. He says, ‘Sup, Leroy?’ I said, ‘Sounds like defeat in your eyes that you know you’re gonna come one on one with the Nasty One, right now, but it’s not in the ring.’ He didn’t want nothing of it. He couldn’t go nowhere other than to confront that man, okay? So, let me tell you what happened—I told Brett Lauderdale, the promoter, I was telling everybody, ‘Listen, he’s ducking me.’ He said, ‘I’m not ducking you, I’m right here.’ I’m like, ‘Well, see, that’s the thing. I’m trying to meet you in the ring. I’m not trying to go to jail, okay?’ Don’t let it be confused, I’m a smart man. So, I’m not going to go to jail. I’ll just beat you up in the ring.”

Matt Cardona may have six championships but he will eventually have to deal with the Nasty One.
