WWE RAW was eventful on July 18. The mysterious vignettes continued, and Kevin Owens returned to the show.
Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for July 18.
– The mysterious vignettes continue to puzzle the WWE Universe. This time around, in addition to glimpses of the RKO shirt and Mick Foley’s flannel shirt, pictures of Seth Rollins were visible. Writing in blood, the unknown figure gradually wrote, “I am coming”, but the unfinished message left the meaning unclear.

– Kevin Owens returned to WWE Raw on Monday for the first time in several weeks. In a new edition of the KO Show, he explained his absence by noting that he went on a nature retreat because he was going crazy over his obsession with Ezekiel/Elias. This time away helped give him some perspective, as he said he doesn’t care about either brother anymore, though he still wants them to fail.

– Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has her hands full on Monday. Before her title defense against Carmella, Becky Lynch came to the ring and announced that she will challenge the winner for the gold at WWE SummerSlam. Belair came to the ring and made it clear that, if they did face off, she would show Big Time Becks that this is her own comeback story. Lynch and Carmella then ganged up on the champion.

– The two-on-one attack put Belair at a disadvantage in her match against Carmella. Still, even with distracting her at ringside, The EST pinned Carmella to retain the title. After the bell, Lynch grabbed the championship and dropped it at Belair’s feet.

– The Street Profits declared that they will go from Nashville to “Cash-ville” at WWE SummerSlam when they beat The Usos. Omos and MVP had other plans in mind. MVP accidentally got Omos disqualified during his match with Angelo Dawkins, but The Usos attacked their challengers during a bout between the Street Profits and the pairing of MVP and Omos. The big man also slammed Dawkins and Montez Ford to punctuate the assault.

– Seth Rollins said he could Stomp anyone he wants on Monday night, and he proved himself right. After he laid out Riddle, Ezekiel confronted him backstage. Rollins said he could Stomp Ezekiel or his brothers, and Zeke told him that business was about to pick up because he threatened his family. Rollins wound up defeating Ezekiel in a hard-fought match.
– The rivalry between The Judgment Day and The Mysterios continued on Monday. Damian Priest guaranteed that Dominik Mysterio would join the group, and the promise almost became a reality. After Priest defeated Rey Mysterio, he threatened to attack Rey with a chair unless Dominik accepted their offer. Hoping to save his dad, the young Mysterio told the duo that he would join them.

– Priest still wasn’t satisfied because he knew that Dominik didn’t really want to become a member. Later, he vowed that The Mysterios will fall next week, and The Judgment Day will rise when they finish what they started. Rey responded by saying that, on the 20th Anniversary of his WWE debut, he’ll show Priest and Balor what being a Mysterio is all about.
– To kick off the show, Tampa’s own Titus O’Neil discussed being a WWE Global Ambassador and highlighted WWE’s aim to be a safe place for everyone.
– Intimidating as always, Veer Mahaan got in Sarah Schreiber’s face and simply said, “Boo.” He then looked at the camera and walked away.

– Before their scheduled match, Theory got into a heated exchange with AJ Styles. Mr. Money in the Bank discussed his goals to recapture the United States Championship and cash in his contract on the world champion at WWE SummerSlam. Styles interrupted by saying that he’ll take the title from Theory once he wins it. He then told the young star that the locker room thinks he’s a jackass and proceeded to say that he’ll knock some sense into him.
– Dolph Ziggler came down to the ring to observe Theory’s match. Like last week, he distracted Theory. This time around, he blasted Mr. Money in the Bank with a superkick when the referee wasn’t looking. As a result, Theory was unable to answer the official’s count, so he lost the match via countout. Styles then dropped his opponent with the Styles Clash.

Reggie came to ringside to distract Brooke, and Akira Tozawa pinned her to win the title. The championship changed hands several times before Brooke regained it and escaped.
