Murphy: Everything You See On TV Is Pretty Real, Seth Rollins Is My Messiah & I’m His Follower

Things have been looking up in the career of Murphy ever since he decided to align himself with Seth Rollins and AOP. Now, Murphy is saying that what you see on television with him idolizing Seth Rollins isn’t just for show.

Speaking to Express in the UK, Murphy would say that he truly does consider Seth Rollins to be a mentor to him and the “Monday Night Messiah” is very much a praiseworthy leader in his mind.

“It’s awesome to be side by side with Seth. I feel like a mini Seth Rollins at the moment,” Murphy would say. “I pick his brain every day learning inside and outside of the ring. I really respect what Seth has done outside of the ring. Being pulled to 150 different directions at the same time, you know it can be hectic and stressful. And in the ring, it’s awesome being with the former Universal Champion, I look up to him. Everything that you see on television it’s pretty real. He’s my messiah and I’m a follower, I follow his lead inside and outside of the ring I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily a bad thing like some people would say, I think he’s actually quite a good role model.”

Murphy has even captured the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship alongside Seth, and they will team up with the AOP on the February 10 episode of WWE Raw to face the foursome of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and the Viking Raiders.
