Muhammad Hassan Returns After 16 Years Of ‘Exile’ In Virtual Basement’s ‘Wrestling Code’

Virtual Basement has announced Muhammad Hassan, now referred to as Hassan, as the latest name added to the extensive roster of their upcoming video game, The Wrestling Code.
Muhammad Hassan on December 13, 2004, on an episode of WWE Raw. Prior to his debut, he was featured in a series of vignettes where he portrayed someone of Middle Eastern descent that had grown up in America but was now facing discrimination following the terrorist attacks perpetrated on September 11, 2001.
Muhammad Hassan would actually go on to have a very successful 2005, wrestling against such names as Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker. His match with the Undertaker would actually be his last match in his WWE career.
Due to the controversial nature of the character, WWE chose to write off Muhammad Hassan at the 2005 Great American Bash event where he would lose to The Undertaker in a Number One Contenders match.
Now, he is back. Featured in a trailer for the upcoming Wrestling Code video game, Hassan’s digital render, in a tech demo for the game, cut a promo about her now is his time after 16 years of “exile,” because now we live in a world that does not ignore prejudice.

Hassan appears as a playable character in the video games WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2006 and WWE Day of Reckoning 2, making this only his third video game appearance overall.
