Mr. Money In The Bank Crowned At WWE Money In The Bank 2022
The Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase has been captured.
On July 2 at WWE Money in the Bank, Riddle, Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Omos, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, and Madcap Moss faced off in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The winner would earn themselves a championship opportunity of their choosing at any place and time.
Before the bout got underway, Adam Pearce came out and announced that Theory would also be taking part in the match. Commentary speculated that this was the doing of Mr. McMahon after Theory lost the United States Title earlier in the night. If so, their plan would pay off as Theory would indeed capture the briefcase after knocking Riddle off the top of a ladder.

With his victory, Theory becomes the twenty-second man to hold the prestigious briefcase. Past winners include John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Edge, CM Punk, Big E, and Randy Orton, among others.
The current Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns was not in action tonight. He is slated to defend his title next against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match at SummerSlam.
