Motor City Machine Guns Stand Tall, Stokely Hathaway Suspends Eddie Kingston | IMPACT/ROH Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following IMPACT and ROH Wrestling on Thursday, November 2, 2023. 

Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.

IMPACT Wrestling  

– In the main event on November 2, The Motor City Machine Guns defeated the Canadian tandem of Eric Young and Josh Alexander. During this match, Alex Shelley struggled with a nagging leg injury.  

– Grado returned to IMPACT Wrestling action on November 2, defeating Trey Miguel in singles action.

– Trinity successfully competed as she was in action against Emersyn Jayne. Jayne, perhaps surprisingly, got some near falls on the IMPACT Knockouts World Champion.

– Moose, Deonna Purrazzo, and Brian Myers, The Virtuosly Profesional Wrestling Gods, defeated SUBCULTURE’s Mark Andrews, Flash Morgan Webster, and Dani Luna. 

– Eddie Edwards sent a final message to Will Ospreay ahead of Turning Point. 

– Joe Hendry defeated Frankie Kazarian to win the Glasgow Cup and later in the show he sent a final message to Simon Miller ahead of Turning Point.

Ring of Honor 

– The show opened with Stokely Hathaway announcing that he had suspended Eddie Kingston temporarily after Eddie put his hands on him. Fans can check out the video of that and the announcement below: 

– Stokely Hathaway is also dealing with Sonjay Dutt who is ready for Jay Lethal to get his shot at Eddie Kingston and the Ring of Honor World Championship.

– Athena again turned back the challenge of Mercedes Martinez and this time she had some help from her minion, Billie Starkz. Learn more here

– Leyla Hirsch defeated Robyn Renegade. After the match, she was jumped by both Renegades and saved by Rachel Ellering. She was not happy about this, however.

– Rachel Ellering also earned Victory on November 2 against LMK. Meanwhile, Charlette Renegade also lost in singles action, losing to Kiera Hogan.

– For one night only, Gravity was one of Dalton Castle’s Boys. It paid off as well as Dalton Castle, Gravity, and The Boys defeated Cole Karter, Griff Garrison, and The WorkHorsemen.

– The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) defeated Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal in the show opener. Dig what I’m sayin’? 

– The Varsity Athletes once again got the better of Ethan Page, with Tony Nese helping Josh Woods defeat All Ego. 

– Darius Martin is now 1-1 against Lee Moriarty after defeating Moriarty on November 2. 

– With Shane Taylor watching on, Action Andretti defeated Lee Johnson and Nick Comoroto, getting a quick roll-up on Nick. 

– Angelico defeated Slim J, Metalik, and Gringo Loco en route to his eventual Ring of Honor World Championship match with Eddie Kingston. A date for that match still hasn’t been announced. 

– The Gates of Agony earned another victory. This time they defeated The Iron Savages, The Infantry, and The Wingmen.
