Moose Wants To Defend IMPACT World Title On GCW Show; Believes ‘Belt Collector’ Stories Are Overdone
Moose is ready to bust some heads.
Moose worked for many years to become the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. Now, he is talking about his goals in the overarching world of wrestling in a new interview with Muscle Man Malcolm.
When asked if there was any other promotion he wanted to work for in this modern era of talent exchanging, moose revealed that he wants to be part of the phenomenon that is GCW. Matt Cardona, who also works for IMPACT is a regular part of GCW events and even though Moose admitted that he’s not familiar with who runs the promotion, he is more than ready to do business.
“I mean, there’s so many great indie shows out there, man. I know GCW’s doing great at the moment and man, I would love to defend my title at GCW. I would like to be a part of that madness that they got going on over there. So I don’t know who runs it, but if they listen to this podcast, hit me up. Let’s talk business. I would like to come and whoop somebody’s ass on your show,” said Moose.
Even though Moose previously stated that he wanted to walk through the Forbidden Door and face Roman Reigns, when asked if there is another world champion in wrestling he would like to face this time around, he said that while many options do exist, he just wants to make the IMPACT World Championship as prestigious as it can be.
“I mean, there’s a bunch of them out there. But I’ll be quite honest, I don’t want to do the whole belt collector thing because it’s been done. It’s been overdone and it’s not a big deal. I’d rather just be the champion of one company and hold that title strong and make that title the most important thing in my livelihood and in my world. So that’s what I’m gonna do,” Moose proclaimed.
On Saturday, March 5 at IMPACT Sacrifice 2022, he will defend his championship against someone who’s never been a World Champion in wrestling and that is Heath, formerly Heath Slater in WWE.
