Moose And Nic Nemeth’s Final Face-To-Face, Shelley And Sabin’s Last Stand, Mark Briscoe Wins | TNA x ROH Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV and ROH Wrestling on HonorClub for Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.

TNA iMPACT!

– The show concluded with Nic Nemeth and Moose having one final confrontation before their TNA World Championship match at TNA Rebellion. Check out the video of the confrontation above. 

– This week’s episode also saw Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin fail to capture the TNA World Tag Team Championship from The System’s Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers. This match is believed to be the final match for the Motor City Machine Guns in TNA Wrestling. 

– Due to a recent injury, Matt Cardona will be unable to accompany Steph De Lander to Rebellion. Jordynne Grace still feels her challenger will have a surprise trick or two, but she’s ready. 

– Joe Hendry picked up a victory over LSG. 

– Steve Maclin vows to make his presence felt this Saturday at Rebellion.

– There’s also a tease of a major appearance as “Lights Out” looms over TNA Rebellion. 

– Jonathan Gresham continues to share more insight into his current thought process as he nears a return. 

– Eric Young is prepared to go into his past in order to battle Frankie Kazarian in Full Metal Mayhem. 

– Cody Deaner and Jake Something reformed their tag team for one night, teaming with Rhino to lose to Mustafa Ali and The Grizzled Young Vets. 

– Alex Hammerstone and Josh Alexander had a brief confrontation after Hammerstone defeated Guido.

Ring of Honor 

– The headlining match saw Mark Briscoe defeat Griff Garrison in a Ring of Honor World Championship Proving Ground match. He also addressed his upcoming match at AEW Dynasty.

– The 2nd phase of the Premier Athletes begins!

– The Beast Mortos defeated Nick Comoroto as Nick is still trying to decide whether or not he is going to take on the guidance of Jacoby Watts. 

– Taya Valkyrie was all alone representing the TV family this week. She would suffer a loss alongside Diamante and Leila Grey to Leyla Hirsch, Kiera Hogan, and Trish Adora.

– Dark Order’s John Silver & Evil Uno picked up a win in a tag team match. The Infantry (Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo) also picked up a tag team victory. 

– In more women’s action, Abadon defeated Allysin Kay, and the other half of The Hex, Marti Belle was also defeated by Lady Frost. 

– Lee Johnson picked up a victory over JD Drake. He will next be in the ring with Rob Van Dam on Rampage. 

– Bryan Keith defeated Aaron Solo in singles competition. 

– Lance Archer, Vincent, and Dutch picked up the victory in Trios action
