Montez Ford Says Otis Is His Favorite Person To Frog Splash: “It’s Like A Trampoline”
Montez Ford discusses his signature Frog Splash.
During a recent appearance on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Ford, one-half of The Street Profits alongside Angelo Dawkins, spoke about his high-flying maneuver, divulging who his favorite person to deliver it to is.
“I would definitely say Otis, it’s like a trampoline,” Ford said.
As for whether or not the size of his opponent changes anything, Ford offered the following response.
“It does. I haven’t even thought about it. But yes, it actually does. It helps with the ricochet. So like, with Otis, I’ll probably fly out the ring,” he said.
Finally, Ford named his favorite Frog Splash, choosing the one he hit on Seth Rollins when he and Dawkins defeated Seth and Murphy on March 2, 2020, to win the Raw Tag Team Titles.
“I would definitely say on Seth Rollins in the Barclays Center, when we won the Tag Team Championships. Just the reaction afterwards, and just that moment itself, so I’d definitely say that was probably the Frog Splash of like, igniting the smoke era,” Ford said.
Ford and Dawkins currently compete on the Raw brand. Their last match came on Valentine’s Day where they defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
