MJF: There Is A Shadow Casted Over AEW By A Bunch Of F*cking Bullshit. We Need Leadership, I’m Ready
MJF is ready to lead AEW out of the darkness, just like the devil would.
2022 has presented its fair share of issues for AEW. Between injuries, arrests, suspensions, and more, All Elite Wrestling had numerous bumps in the road this year. Maxwell Jacob Friedman, MJF, says he’s tired of his big moments being overshadowed by the mess that surrounds him. MJF mentioned during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast that every time he’s had a major moment, it’s been overshadowed by someone else.
Now, in a new tweet, Maxwell says that the entire company has been enveloped in the darkness cast by the shadow of the “fucking bullshit” that has occurred in recent months. Max says the company needs a leader, they need The Devil, and he is ready.
There’s been a shadow casted over AEW by a bunch of fucking bullshit.
We are closer then ever to stepping out of the darkness and into the light. We have the roster. We have the platform. Now all we need is stability, change, and leadership.
We need the Devil.

MJF will try to become the leader of the company by wrestling away the World Championship from Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear 2022. When MJF first returned at AEW All Out 2022, he had his sights set on CM Punk but his moment was once again overshadowed by the backstage brawl that would result in numerous suspensions, the firing of Ace Steel, and leaving CM Punk’s AEW status in question.
