Here is your post-AEW Dynamite fight size update for Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

– MJF delivered a heated message about how he’s not the same kid Jon Moxley faced the last time they battled. He stated that his mind is more dangerous than Moxley’s disease. The Dynamite Diamond Ring winner proceeded to introduce The Firm, a stable he now has on retainer. Led by his best friend Stokely Hathaway, the group will help MJF when he needs them. Otherwise, The Firm will focus on its own interest. Stokely noted that Ethan Page, the Gunn Club, and Lee Moriarty have their sights set on winning the gold.

– Swerve In Our Glory successfully defended the AEW World Tag Tag Team Championship against the Lucha Brothers in a thrilling contest. The Acclaimed then confronted the champions after the bout ahead of their clash next week.

– Viral sensation Luigi Primo appeared on the show in a brief backstage segment, where Ethan Page laid him out. Page then challenged Danhausen, fan-favorite, to a match.

– Jon Moxley defeated Sammy Guevara, despite Tay Melo’s interference, to advance to the finals of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions.

– Britt Baker and Serena Deeb stole the win in a tag team match against Toni Storm and Athena. Jamie Hayter came to the ring during a post-match brawl and attacked Storm, but she made it clear that she wasn’t on Baker’s side. AEW then announced that Storm will defend the AEW Interim Women’s World Championship against Baker, Deeb, and Athena next week.

– HOOK and Action Bronson previewed their showdown with Angelo Parker and Matt Menard next week.

– Matt Hardy challenged Darby Allin to a match on AEW Rampage and referenced the former TNT Champion’s match with his brother, Jeff.

– Angelo Parker commented on his looming match with HOOK and Bronson, promising that they’re going to get a taste next week.
