MJF On If He Loves His Mom: That’s A Loaded Question, She’s Kind Of A Bitch
Even bad men love their mothers… well, usually at least.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman is a complicated man. While he professes himself to be a humble man, he also professes himself to be a scumbag, a scumbag for wrestling fans everywhere to get behind, but a scumbag nonetheless.
In the past, MJF’s mother has not been afraid to call him out on his less-than-honorable behavior on AEW TV. MJF hasn’t been shy about calling his mother names as well.
While appearing on the media scrum following AEW All In in London, England. MJF was asked if he loves his mother. Well, with his mother in the room, MJF proclaimed that his mother is “kind of a bitch” and that she is always seeking the spotlight, something he says he didn’t inherit at all.
“Fuck, that is a loaded question. I think she really, she’s kind of a bitch, and she’s always constantly, no offense mom, she’s in the room, she’s always constantly trying to draw attention to herself,” said the AEW World Champion. “Frankly, if there’s one thing about me, I’m a super humble guy. I never try to make it all about me. So I don’t know where the fuck that is because I didn’t get that. I didn’t get that at all. I think we can all agree I’m humble, right? I’m like the most humble guy in the world. So I don’t understand her at all. The apple fell very far away from the truth, and I just wish she would stop making it about herself all the time because I would never do that. By the way, World Champion, main event, won tonight with my best friend. No big deal.”
