The Miz: I Will No Longer Drink Gin And Juice, And I’m Out On Doggystyle
The Miz had a WrestleMania to remember, technically wrestling three matches across the two nights and going 2-1 with one victory via injury stoppage.
Miz was announced as the host of the event, but got himself into a couple of matches thanks to his co-host Snoop Dogg, who had some surprises for him.
Appearing on Kyle Brandt’s Basement, The Miz reflected on his WrestleMania to remember.
“I’ll never listen to another Snoop Dogg album ever again. ‘Doggystyle’ was one of my first CDs I ever bought in high school and now I can’t even hear his voice anymore. He put me in three impromptu matches. No one has ever had three matches at WrestleMania. I did that this year. I guess I broke a record. I’ll never draft George Kittle as my tight end. I don’t care if he’s the last tight end. I will choose a quarterback, a running back, I will leave the tight end blank. I never want to hear George Kittle’s name. I will choose Kyle Rudolph over George Kittle. I’m never listening to the Pat McAfee Show ever again. I was a fan of Pat McAfee, but no more,” he said.
At night one, Miz said he put out an open challenge that wasn’t answer…until it was answered by Pat McAfee. During the match, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle got involved.
“While I’m talking to Snoop, McAfee sucker punches me. I roll out of the ring, get my bearings straight, George Kittle hops the barricade, no one stops him, and he takes my head off. McAfee punts my face off. It’s a handicap match and I’m in a $10,000 suit. The suit is ruined,” he said.
Speaking about Kittle, Miz said, “He was very easy to push down and make him sit down. He was standing, I pushed him, and he almost fell over in his seat. That’s how strong I am. George Kittle is supposed to block people and I took him down. I’m thinking, maybe the 49ers want me as their tight end. There is no doubt the power, athleticism, and talent of George Kittle. You see it on display every Sunday. He has an immense amount of talent and is very strong. Stick in your lane, I’ll stick in mine. Enjoy Brock Purdy, maybe Sam Darnold, Trey Lance if he’s back. That whole team is injury prone, as well as George Kittle. I’m surprised his arm didn’t fall off when he hit my steel jaw.”
At night two, Snoop surprised Miz with Shane McMahon, who was returning for the first time since Royal Rumble 2022. Unfortunately, Shane blew out his quad doing a leap frog.
“We always tell kids not to do what we do at home for a reason. This is very dangerous and we’re trained professionals. Things happen in the ring that are sometimes out of your control. When you get in the ring with me, you might get hurt. That kind of happened with Shane,” said Miz.
With Shane out of commission, Snoop took matters into his own hands, punching Miz and dropping a people’s elbow.
“He had those Death Row rings, which are basically like a brass knuckle. Knocked me once, my steel jaw took it, got back up and he had to do another sucker punch and then he does a people’s elbow. Those rings he had on, I still have an indent in my chin. I’m surprised he didn’t break his hand when he felt my jaw,” he said.
Miz concluded by saying, “I’m not drinking gin and juice. I will no longer doggystyle anymore, my apologies to my wife. I can’t even look at my dog. Anything between dogs, I’m out on.”
Poor Maryse.
Miz did admit that giving up on the Dawg Pound would be tough given his love for the Cleveland Browns.
Miz got one more surprise on Monday when he was attacked by Matt Riddle.
