The Miz: I Usually Win When I Hit Skull Crushing Finale And I Very Rarely Win Nowadays
As the only two-time Grand Slam Champion in WWE, The Miz is one of the most decorated superstars in WWE history.
Throughout his many reigns as champion, Miz has most often captured titles with his signature move The Skull Crushing Finale, a full nelson leg sweep facebuster.
Speaking to Ryan Satin on Out of Character, Miz named his favorite Skull Crushing Finale, saying, “It would have to be Randy Orton. [Winning] the WWE Championship for the first time, Angry Miz Girl. There was a ton of emotions, I was thinking it was going to switch during the match and it didn’t, thankfully. Hearing the crowd’s reaction, seeing Angry Miz Girl, I couldn’t believe it.”
As far as his favorite opponent to hit is on, Miz replied, “I love hitting it on any of my friends. Dolph Ziggler is always a good one. Kofi [Kingston], anyone I’m really good friends with, I love hitting it and then rubbing it in their face when I’m pinning them.”
Of all the Skull Crushing Finales he’s hit in his career, Miz would not take one back. Especially in 2021.
“I don’t think I’d ever take one back because whenever I hit it, it’s usually for the pin and I very rarely win nowadays,” he said.
Miz will try to hit Skull Crushing Finale on Damian Priest at WWE WrestleMania Backlash when the two men meet in a lumberjack match.
Fightful will have live coverage of WrestleMania Backlash beginning at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.
