The Miz: I Made Bad Bunny Earn His WrestleMania Spot

The Miz says he made Bad Bunny earn the praise that he has received at WrestleMania.

Already, Bad Bunny’s performance from the first night of WrestleMania 37 on Saturday, April 10, 2021, has received high praise as one of the best appearances by a celebrity at WrestleMania.

Bunny teamed with Damian Priest against The Miz and John Morrison and appeared very comfortable in the ring, nailing a Falcon Arrow, a Crossbody Splash, and a Canadian Destroyer.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, The Miz opened up about making Bad Bunny earn his praise and how he feels about Bad Bunny providing a new audience for WWE.

“Bad Bunny is the biggest recording artist out there right now,” Mike “The Miz” Mizanin says. “He’s performed at the Super Bowl with Shakira and J.Lo, he won a Grammy, he’s been on SNL. This guy is very popular and he’s generating a new audience to WWE.”

“To get a spot at WrestleMania, you have to be at the top of your game,” Mizanin says. “I made sure Bad Bunny earned it.”
