The Miz Explains How John Cena Taught Him To Be A Main Event Superstar
The Miz and John Cena have had multiple battles at WrestleMania, including a main event match at WrestleMania 27.
The two men also battle in a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 33 with The Miz teaming with Maryse and Cena teaming with Nikki Bella.
Speaking on In Da Kliq, Miz was asked what he learned from Cena during their battles together.
“It was a teaching moment for me. It showed me what it takes to be a main event caliber superstar. I’m very thankful for those moments because it allowed me to have the confidence that I have today in my abilities. Cena is a wealth of knowledge and he’s more than willing to hand it out if you’re willing to listen. He would always teach me different things in the ring that I need to do, how to listen, how to hear, what to do, when to do it. I could go on and on and on. Cena has taught me a lot in the WWE and entertainment,” he said.
Cena is set to return to WWE on the June 27 episode of WWE Raw.
The Miz is not only still regularly featured on WWE Raw, but season three of Miz & Mrs premiered on USA last Monday.
