WWE legend Mick Foley has rejected movie offers to play Santa Claus to keep ‘spirit’ of Father Christmas (via Metro)
‘When I get out there [for my spoken word shows] and I’m on the stage and I’m getting laughs or cringes or the occasional happy tear, I feel very much like I did when I was in the ring,’ he said.
‘The early December portrayals of a certain historical December character – I love doing that as well. Although I don’t have the beard growing out this year, I’ll find a way, hopefully, to play a part in that world as well.’
