Michael Oku: I Can Count On Chris Jericho As Someone To Bounce Ideas On Or Ask For Advice From

Michael Oku comments on finding a mentor in Chris Jericho. 

Michael Oku is one of the top wrestlers in the British scene and he continues to make a name for himself around the world. Oku, through the years, has developed a relationship with Chris Jericho, with Jericho even promising Oku a spot on AEW programming in London back in 2013. 

Now, while speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Oku praised Jericho as a mentor and someone who’s always open to giving advice or fielding ideas from the young wrestler. 

“It’s weird, because if you want to talk about my influences, anyone that knows me, even if they’re not wrestling fans, they know it’s Chris Jericho and The Rock. Those are my two guys that influenced me to be the pro wrestler I am today. So for me to develop a relationship with Chris personally and him to be a fan of my stuff, it’s really cool. I can always count on him as someone to just like bounce ideas on or ask for advice from. He’s very open like that. So I always really appreciate Chris.”
