Mia Yim Says She’s Still UpUpDownDown Champion
Mia Yim is gone from WWE, but she’s taking the UpUpDownDown Championship with her.
Yim was part of over a dozen WWE releases on Thursday, which also included her fiance Keith Lee. Though Yim had not wrestled in 2021 and didn’t have much of a television presence, she was part of UpUpDownDown.
In fact, she was the UpUpDownDown Champion, defeating Tyler Breeze at UpUpDownDown Mania 2 in April.
Though she’s been released by WWE, Mia is still claiming the UUDD Championship.

Along with being featured on UUDD, Yim was part of BRE Start with Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Dakota Kai.
Yim was reportedly set to return to television on the May 7 episode of WWE SmackDown to start a feud with Carmella, but the segment was pulled for time. She was drafted to WWE Raw in the 2021 WWE Draft, but never returned to TV. She has a 90-day non-compete clause as part of her release.
