WWE SmackDown

– In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Max Dupri teased the return of LA Knight. After the Maximum Male Models’ loss on SmackDown, he told them that one has to go through the day to get to the night. Fightful Select recently reported that We’ve also learned there could be changes to Dupri in the near future.

Braun Strowman was back on SmackDown just a few days after he returned to WWE on Monday Night Raw. He came to the ring with a new theme song and overpowered Alpha Academy, who had just taken a few digs at Seattle’s unfortunate history with sports franchises.

Imperium battled the Brawling Brutes in the opening match, and the two trios threw everything they had at each other. In the end, Gunther’s team scored the win with the Imperium Bomb on Ridge Holland.

– Sami Zayn and The Usos officially welcomed Solo Sikoa to The Bloodline after the latter debuted at WWE Clash at the Castle, where he helped Roman Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre. “The Scottish Warrior” stormed to the ring and attacked Sikoa. They then agreed to face off later in the show.

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah defeated Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction in a non-title match.

Ronda Rousey won a Fatal Five-Way Match to earn a shot at WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. She will challenge the champion for the gold at WWE Extreme Rules.

– Michael Cole announced that Rousey had been sanctioned internally as part of an internal investigation into her attack on Adam Pearce.

– In a brief conversation backstage, Shayna Baszler wished Ronda Rousey luck in her title match, while the latter stated that revenge can be even better than victory.

In a WWE Digital Exclusive, SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan discussed her looming clash with Rousey and made it clear that she’s ready to beat the former champion again.

Hit Row and the Street Profits teamed up to take on the Maximum Male Models and Los Lotharios, and the fan-favorite quartet scored the victory.

Drew McIntyre and Solo Sikoa battled it out in the main event. Sami Zayn and The Usos got involved, but The Street Profits came out to even the odds. McIntyre was moments away from the potential win when Karrion Kross attacked him from behind. The former NXT Champion choked him out to close the show.

AEW Rampage

– Claudio Castagnoli defended the ROH World Championship against Dax Harwood in Rampage’s hard-fought main event.

– In the show-opening match, Sammy Guevara defeated Darby Allin to advance to the next round of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions.

– ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe stated that his title was open for business, and a confrontation with Mark Sterling, on Josh Woods’ behalf, set the stage for a championship match next week.

– Speaking of Sterling, he revealed that Tony Nese’s loss to Wardlow on AEW Dynamite should be struck from the records because the decisive powerbomb exceeded the height restrictions.

– Looking back on AEW All Out, Miro noted that his god snuck the devil out before he could personally take him out. He stated that gold hands around the waists of lesser men. Miro told his god to admit that he failed and belt “The Redeemer.”

– Serena Deeb picked up a win over Madison Rayne to gain momentum ahead of AEW Dynamite.

– TBS Champion Jade Cargill discussed her win at AEW All Out and made it clear that she doesn’t plan on slowing down any time soon.

– Powerhouse Hobbs noted that he put Ricky Starks six feet deep at AEW All Out, and now he’s going to show the world that he’s a “mon-star.”
