Matt Sydal Back In USA, Done With NJPW

Matt Sydal's cannabis nightmare is over for now.

Sydal spent months in a Japanese police and immigration detention centers after being arrested on September 23 at Kansai airport when he was caught possessing a “hidden pipe containing liquid cannabis two and a pipe containing cannabis two of a state of being attached to the electronic cigarette." 

Sydal was pulled from the Destruction in Kobe event the following day. He told Pro Wrestling Sheet “I’m no longer with NJPW. I still love the Japanese people, but I won’t be working there in the near future.” He also stated that the whole situation is over, even though he's still on probation in Japan.
