Matt Riddle is coming to NJPW.
During NJPW New Year Dash, a vignette aired showcasing Matt Riddle. In the vignette, Riddle issued a challenge to Hiroshi Tanahashi for the NJPW World TV Championship.
Tanahashi had successfully defended the title against Ryusuke Taguchi when Riddle issued the challenge.

Tanahashi agreed to the challenge, but said he had no idea who Riddle is and that he would have to do his research.
Tanahashi won the NJPW World TV Title at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 when he defeated Zack Sabre Jr.
