Riddle was released by WWE on September 22.
Riddle last competed on the September 4 episode of WWE Raw, teaming with Drew McIntyre. He was in an active storyline with McIntyre before being off television.
Riddle had been off television after he accused an officer at JFK airport of sexual harassment in an Instagram post that he deleted on September 10. According to reports, Port Authority officers got a call for a disorderly person who was deplaning, and they met him in the terminal. Riddle was reportedly the disorderly person in question. An internal investigation was launched at that time.
