Matt Jackson Stops Dark Order From Showing Kenny Omega His Actions At AEW Full Gear 2021

Kenny Omega almost learned the truth.

Kenny Omega almost learned the truth.

At AEW Full Gear 2021, Omega defended the AEW World Championship against Hangman Page. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) were at ringside for the bout, and while they had been firmly aligned with Omega ahead of the bout, something changed. During the match, Matt Jackson gave Hangman a clear indication of their approval as he prepared to hit the Buckshot Lariat for the win. Page emerged victorious, and Omega missed the next several months as he recovered from injuries.

Omega returned in August 2022 and reunited with the Young Bucks, and it was clear that he was unaware of Matt Jackson’s actions at AEW Full Gear. They have continued to fight alongside each other, but tensions have been rising throughout the group’s feud with the Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta). Plus, in recent weeks, the Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver, and Evil Uno) have been threatening to expose Matt’s secret.

On the newest episode of Being The Elite, Reynolds, Silver, and Uno showed Omega some videos. First, they played him a clip of a dog pooping. Silver then wanted to show Omega a video of “a giraffe sucking off that donkey.” Unfortunately, that was on Uno’s phone, but Reynolds had a plan, as he cued up another video on his phone. This clip was apparently from Omega’s title match at AEW Full Gear 2021.

Alex Reynolds: Looks familiar, right?

Kenny Omega: That’s me, that’s when I was the champ.

AR: Remember? That’s Full Gear, and here come the young bucks.

Evil Uno: Hey, that’s your friends.

John Silver: They’re probably gonna help you out and definitely not do anything wrong.

KO: I’ve actually never watched it before

Matt Jackson arrived in the nick of time, as he walked in before Omega could see what happened. He then took the phone, chucked it at the ground, and stomped on it.  Matt proceeded to show what seemed to be an inappropriate video of his wife before he told the Dark Order trio to leave.

Matt Jackson: Hey, I got a really great video for you. You’re gonna love this one, Kenny. You’re gonna love this. This is a doozy right here.

EU: Alex, he shattered your phone!

KO: Is that your wife?

MJ: Yeah.

EU: That’s very inappropriate, Matt.

MJ: Look at that one, Kenny. What do you think of that one, Kenny?

KO: Keep that coming, wow. Geez. I didn’t know… she’s an exhibitionist, to say the least.

MJ: Alright, we’re making love. This isn’t for you guys. This is just for Kenny. How about you guys take a powder and get the hell out of here.

JS: If you want to email that to me….

AR: We’ll show you that video another time, Kenny.

Matt’s next actions made that increasingly difficult. Throughout the rest of the video, Matt slammed the phone on the ground, smashed it with a chair, and threw it at the wall. He also washed his hands while the phone was in the sink, squirted hand sanitizer onto the device, banged it on a trash can, and rolled over it with a back roller. At the end of the video, Matt puts the phone in his coffee cup and drank from it.
