Matt Hardy Says His Image Was Projected By Vanguard 1, Didn’t Teleport On AEW Dynamite
Maybe Matt Hardy wasn’t teleporting after all on AEW Dynamite.
In the closing segment of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, fans were left stunned — some just confused — when Matt Hardy began teleporting down the arena and to ringside for his confrontation with Chris Jericho. Some thought the teleportation perfectly fit Hardy and his character while others didn’t believe teleportation had any place in AEW given that they are going for a “real sports” feel.
However, as Matt Hardy explains, he wasn’t teleporting at all. It was just his drone Vanguard 1 projecting his image to confuse Jericho.
Heavens to NERIC, Vanguard 1.. Our plan at last week’s #AEWDynamite was PRACTICALLY PERFECT.
We left The Maker of Pain @IAmJericho absolutely MENTALLY INTERCOURSED after you & the Aerial Assault Robots FLAWLESSLY projected my plan.
It was MAGIC. pic.twitter.com/iZxmtoJJrg

Teleportation?
Of course not.
It was merely a fleet of Aerial Assault Drones led by Vanguard 1 projecting an array of images of #BROKEN @MATTHARDYBRAND to confuse @chrisjerichofozzy which hasten the MAKER OF PAIN’S descent into madness during last week’s #AEWDynamite.Duh. pic.twitter.com/opNItEiHbs
